Eric Lutz named Associate Director

We're excited to announce the School of Mining & Mineral Resources' new Associate Director, Dr. Eric Lutz. He is Director of the Mining Safety Center of Excellence and is also our first Professor of Practice. Dr. Lutz has over 30 years' experience in the classroom and as a leading researcher into matters affecting the health and safety of miners, making him the perfect addition to our school.

Dr. Lutz is a skilled leadership trainer with honorable service in the U.S. Air Force and Arizona Air National Guard. His partnership with the School will allow him the opportunity to contribute more actively to the quest for solutions to the complex challenges facing the mining industry, and we are honored to welcome him to our team!
