Jodi Banta joined the Mineral Resources industry after spending nearly 15 years in Financial Services with insurance giant, American International Group (AIG), and its former foreign subsidiary AIA Group. With AIG world headquarters, she managed project teams around the globe to implement CRM technology and customer-centric business strategies. Subsequently with AIA Singapore as Assistant Vice President and Head of Business Intelligence, she established the company’s first Business Intelligence Unit, focusing on customer-centric data science and market research. In this, and her later role as AVP of Product and Customer Communications, she managed diverse teams to address emerging risks and opportunities across the organization. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Arizona.
