Gregory H. Boyce
Greg Boyce grew up in Long Island, New York, and attended the University of Arizona where he earned his degree in mining engineering and met Lisa, his wife of 40 years. He also completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard’s Graduate School of Business. His father had a long career at Newmont Mining Corporation as a tax executive, and Greg followed in his footsteps when he joined Newmont’s Board of Directors in 2015. He also serves on the Board of the Heard Museum. His 40-year career in the global energy and mining industries includes 14 years in executive roles at Rio Tinto, and 12 years at Peabody Energy where he retired as Executive Chairman in 2015. He is also past Chairman of the National Mining Association, and chair of the Lowell Institute for Mineral Resources at the University of Arizona. Greg and Lisa enjoy spending time with their two daughters, taking road trips and learning how to golf.
